FAQ

Q1. My phone verification on Socinet doesn’t work. What should I do?
A. You must use a Korean phone number registered under your Alien Registration number. If you don’t have one, visit your immigration office or a nearby support center.

Q2. What’s included in the KIIP level test?
A. It includes listening, speaking, and writing. The test lasts about 1.5 hours. Results are available on Socinet after a few days.

Q3. Can I skip lower levels if I already have a TOPIK certificate?
A. Yes. With TOPIK Level 2, you may start from KIIP Level 2. With Level 4 or higher, you may start from Level 4. Submit the official document to immigration.

Q4. Can anyone apply for online classes?
A. Not by default. Online classes are reserved for those with special circumstances (e.g., pregnancy, disability) and require document proof.

Q5. I missed the test registration deadline. What now?
A. Unfortunately, you must wait for the next round. Check socinet.go.kr or kiiptest.org regularly to avoid missing announcements.
